As we participate in the campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness, we cannot settle in and relax with the advances and improvements with the survival rates of those who have survived cancer. Of course we celebrate the major strides that have been made but the truth remains that there are many who are dying from breast cancer. The disparities remain high among the minority population with minor improvements. Needless to say, there is still a lot of work to do. We feature the journeys of the young people whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.While each journey is unique, we all share a common theme - cancer changes our lives forever.
